New Non-Fiction in March/April 2023

Top picks10th March 2023

In March we’ll be welcoming both Dina Nayeri and Gary Younge to the shop to host events for their books: Who Gets Believed? and Dispatches from the Diaspora. Many of the team are keenly awaiting the publication of BBFs, written by Anahit Behrooz, which is the latest addition to the much-loved Inkling series from 404 Ink. Likewise, Polly Barton’s Porn, a collection of interviews about the role pornography plays in contemporary life, is sure to be a conversation-starter. Manager Alice, Assistant-Manager Helena, and Events Coordinator Molly have all enthused about Arrangements in Blue, Amy Key’s intimate memoir. Stationery Buyer Selena is keeping an eye on Peter Frankopan’s The Earth Transformed and Alice Vincent’s Why Women Grow. And Marc is intrigued by Christina Sharpe’s (already much-lauded) Ordinary Notes and Noreen Masud’s A Flat Place.
