This collection of A. M. Dale's work examines the technicalities and interpretations of Greek poetry as well as Greek drama.
This 1969 collection was put together by Professor E. G. Turner and Professor T. B. L. Webster of A. M. Dale's works concerning the technicalities and interpretations of Greek poetry. Some of the papers deal with metre and language; but most are about aspects of Greek drama - staging, choruses and interpretations of particular plays.Miss Dale was one of the most distinguished classical scholars of her generation. her published papers - of the greatest interest and importance - are widely dispersed through a number of journals, some not easily accessible. She left a number of papers unpublished at her death. This 1969 collection was put together by Professor E. G. Turner and Professor T. B. L. Webster.
