Study Speaking cover

Study Speaking is designed for learners who need to attend academic or professional seminars. It focuses on the analysis and evaluation of spoken performance. Each unit is divided into three phases: • Information tasks: the first phase involves the transactional exchange of information. The emphasis is on clarity and problem solving • Scenarios: the second phase focuses on flexibility and developing negotiating skills • Seminar Skills: the third and final phase focuses on effectiveness in both presentation and participation skills. The book contains a teacher's guide. The cassette contains listening material for the information tasks and sample performances.
