This is Volume 21 of 150 the Uralic and Altaic series covering the period of 1960 to 1990. focuses on providing a manual, area handbook of grammar, graded reader and glossary the language of 'Yahut'. The present work is designed as a teaching manual for study of the Yakut language, and is also so arranged as to be used for self instruction, particularly by persons with prior acquaintance with another Turkic language.
