Each box contains 40 decodable fiction and non-fiction cards (six copies of each) matched to one of the most commonly used validated SSPs in primary schools, and an accompanying teacher's guide. This includes: a teacher's reference panel about the card, before reading notes to check the children's phonic understanding and tricky words; first and second reading activities to develop close reading and fluency; after reading activities including questions and prompts; suggestions for discussion and dictation and writing activities.
