Oxford Reading Tree Green Sparks combines phonic progression with essential vocabulary to extend understanding of sustainability issues in global and local contexts. Haruki finds a hermit crab with a plastic bottle top, instead of a shell. After finding a shell for the crab, Haruki then decides to clean up the beach of all the rubbish. Haruki and the Hermit Crab focuses on UN SDG 14 Life below water, but also on UN SDG 15 Life on land.
