This particular text provides some good links to sources of additional reading, resources and software that are worth investigating if you are working in this field.

This text has been quite useful for the teaching teams of the PTLLS and DTLLS. The authors provide current information for vocational teachers on policy and how that affects their practice given the changing landscape.

There is also a useful chapter on observing vocational teaching practice which our college observation team would benefit from.

This book provides a good overview of some of the issues that a teacher/assessor of vocational learners needs to consider. It is a little generic in places, but there are plenty of examples from different settings that will enable readers to draw parallels and gain context for their learning.
