An excellent introductory text. Clearly defined and well structured book, which simplifies much of the organisational behaviour. This book provides a concise and readable introduction to the complexities of organisational behaviour. Dealing with all of the key features, it takes each in turn and introduces and develops them in an easy-to-follow and step-by-step approach. It covers the familiar features of organisation behaviour, organisational context, leadership, motivation and culture and diversity, in a fresh and direct point of view, and deals extensively with the great impact of technological and social changes of working life. The pros will obviously be the usage of the much simpler and average vocabulary in the context. Secondly, the examples used in the case studies are easy to understand as well. I will definitely recommend this book to any students studying business, human resource management and any related courses which relates to Organisational Behaviour at any level, in the higher education curriculum. This book provides an excellent read for students studying OB and provides opportunities to stretch and develop those with enquiring minds. -- Dr Never Muskwe * drupal *

Excellent and comprehensive, this book will be our main resource and recommendation towards our students. Clear structure, great illustrations and written in a very understandable way. -- Mr Steffen Triebel * drupal *
This is a book of great interest particularly for students of management and economics, approaching the current topics of organizational behavior with the detail required for this target audience. It has the great advantage of being very schematic and give many examples of companies that help to articulate the theoretical component with organizational reality.
Congratulations to the authors and to Sage!
Best regards,
Isabel Torres -- Mrs Isabel Torres * drupal *
An easy to read and good ′dip into′ book covering a broad range of topics. Provides a good starting point for the students. -- Mrs Marie Dey * drupal *
There is a lot covered in this book and it is laid out and presented in a way which I think students would appreciate, however, it is rather broad brush. It would be fine as a basic starting point but probably does not provide enough depth for my students to justify purchasing it. -- Ms Melissa Carr * drupal *
We very much appreciate the fresh approach to organizational behavior, including innovation, stressing the importance of teams, new ways of working. The book is accessible for our first year students. The practice exercises are very useful, and we intend to use them in workgroups. -- Professor Allard Van Riel * drupal *
This book is able to give a complete notion of what organizational behavior is as well as all of its ramifications and areas of application. It has a very flexible and simple approach, being enhanced by previously prepared exercises for students that are very well constructed.
Finally, I enjoyed the fact that part of its organization is through a list of key terms, which is quite useful to navigate in the book. -- Professor Célia Tavares * drupal *
This text is the most logical in progression and most student focused text in the market.
Bravo! -- Professor Peg Wimmer * drupal *
