Overall this is an excellent book and the content aligns closely to the content of our module. The only gripe is that the book is UK based and we are in Ireland, however it makes it more suitable than a US book. -- Philip James
This book is now adopted as ESSENTIAL reading for our students on T Level, particularly in the second year where students will undertake specialisms in Mental Health Practice. -- Miss Beccy Smith * drupal *
Used in a generic module that covers concepts of mental health. The book is ideally written to give student nurses from other fields an insight into how MH practice is relevant and helpful to them as professionals -- Miss Lauren Rea * drupal *
I use this text when delivering the importance of mental health in adult nursing care. -- Mr Thomas Beary * drupal *
A welcome updated version of essential aspects of mental health care. User friendly and easy to navigate. I particularly liked the inclusion of positive psychology interventions to balance out the more traditional and expected interventions. -- Mrs Janet Macfarlane * drupal *
an easy to read text which highlights mental health practice in adult nursing -- Simone Bedford * drupal *
