Trish Burr's Nature Embroidery Transfers cover

Create your own stitched masterpieces with a range of stunning designs from world-renowned embroiderer Trish Burr.

This fantastic resource book contains 75 of Trish's exquisite embroidery designs on easy-to-use iron-on transfer paper, with full-colour stitch inspiration for each design.

Whatever your embroidery ability, you can get started with confidence using one of Trish's tried-and-tested designs. This beautiful book contains a bumper selection of 75 inspiring iron-on designs from two of Trish's best-selling embroidery books (The Kew Book of Embroidered Flowers and The Kew Book of Embroidered Nature Samplers), plus over 40 designs taken from Trish's popular embroidery patterns (which have never been published in her books before).

  • Choose from a stunning collection of nature-themed motifs, including flowers, butterflies and bees.
  • The book gives colour inspiration for every design so that you can follow Trish's original silk shading, or choose your own palette.
  • There is a helpful guide to using the iron-on transfer paper, and each transfer can be used, stored then reused multiple times. A test transfer is also included, so that you can try out the technique before committing to one of the designs.

This fabulous book contains a bumper selection of designs to choose from and will provide you with the confidence you need to create your own stitched masterpieces.

A soft back A4 book full of 75 iron on designs to use for embroidery, either by hand or machine. The book is printed on quality paper, with clear type and colour reproduction. The pictures are so clear you can see the weave structure in the cloth.

There is an interesting introduction to Trish who is self-taught but obviously an accomplished embroidery artist. Beautiful large colour photographs show the detail and precision of her work. The shading of the flowers and animals is quite spectacular. Some of the pictures are taken from her other books (Kew), which I would now like to see.

Whilst this book only contains wonderful transfers from nature, mainly flowers with no specific embroidery information, I am sure it will inspire you. There is guidance on how to use the transfers and a website to refer to. Hopefully with a lot of practice and skill, use the transfers and produce your own masterpiece.
