These ideas on how to think like a solution focused counselor were born at the Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This book is not a strict academic text but instead offers insights and ideas for utilizing Solution Focused Therapy based on training at the Brief Family Therapy Center, years of supervised practice using Solution Focused therapy, readings, research, and decades of training others on how to utilize Solution Focused Therapy.
