The Other Side of the Coin cover

In the picturesque Cornish town of Falmouth, a chance meeting develops into a friendship between Beth, her young son, Harrison and her neighbour, Maureen. However, Beth is unaware of Maureen's growing obsession with Harrison, or that Maureen considers him a surrogate for her dead grandson. Beth's arrest for murder, in what appears to be an open and shut case, sees her imprisoned and reliant on Maureen for Harrison’s care. But can Beth find the help she needs to prove her innocence, regain her freedom and be reunited with her three-year-old son? Contributor bio: After a busy and successful career in education, Wendy took early retirement in 2011 and studied creative writing. She read a lot of ‘how-to’ books, undertook various courses, joined a book club of like minded writers and wrote her first book: St Francis an Instrument of Peace (published in 2018 by Novum). She then completed the Random House advanced programme where she developed her second book: Not Exactly Chaucer (published in 2020 by Conrad Press). The Other Side of the Coin is her third book, set in her home town of Falmouth in Cornwall.
