The Adventures of Captain Bobo is a picture book series (and radio series/audiobook series) inspired by the real life stories of a real Captain and a real Paddle Steamer - the famous Waverley.

Author Kay Hutchison's father was the senior captain of the fleet of ships serving the communities dotted around Scotland's magnificent west coast. As a little girl she heard her father tell numerous stories of the boats and people; stories of storms and shipwrecks and of fun and mishaps.

Tigearan is a picture book full of fun with delightful warm-hearted humour, uplifting characters and beautiful illustrations by Belle Media/Belle Kids' long-time collaborator Matt Rowe.
