'Hilarious, madcap and frantic'
Joanna Nadin

''A proper adventure with cliffhangers, explosions and surprises galore!

Ever wondered how you'd cope if (bossy) aliens landed in the garden and demanded to be taken to your leader? That's what happens to Hillman. They crush his dad's pride and joy, a 1978 Ford Anglia, in the process and things only get crazier from there.

With her robot servant Silver at her side, armed with a custard blaster, Princess Cassiopeia is determined to save Earth from the much more ruthless Prince Perseus, also newly arrived with his robot Bronz and expecting his spaceship fleet to join them, and then wipe out our planet. Others involved in the adventure are Roz, junior bank robber accidentally teamed up with Prince Perseus, her grandad and his fellow users of the Sunny View Day Care Centre.

Despite the silliness, this is a proper adventure with cliffhangers, explosions and surprises galore, including some particularly enjoyable twists at the end, and a fair bit of social comment too. Rory Walker has fun with the illustrations and there's lots to enjoy in this madcap story.'
