This is a Story

This is the story of ten-year-old Adelaide Moncrief, who has been tasked by the Queen with finding the kingdom’s missing dragon before the Great Census. Without it, Pebblepoint will lose everything to one of their larger, greedier neighbours.

Armed only with a small dagger, a single scale from the dragon, and an enchanted sugar bowl, Adelaide sets out on her quest. But the dragon has been cursed with dark magic, and traitorous Patience Fish throws obstacle after obstacle in Adelaide’s path. Can she use all of her bravery and wit, plus a little help from her trusty sugar bowl, to save the kingdom?
