Kate’s Journal

At a very early age, Kate’s mother tells Kate that her father is going to become deathly ill at the dinner table, and regardless as to how distressed he becomes, Kate is to sit quietly without emotion. A few days after the father dies, Kate’s mother instructs Kate that she should never allow men to abuse her, then she teaches Kate how to mix a deadly potion. Kate becomes a young, likeable, beautiful woman with red hair and first dates Mark, then the mayor, and then Ken. All experience the stealth and guile of a psychopath. Kate becomes angry at Ken and commits a critical error, which sends her to Nashville Women’s Prison, where she becomes enslaved to the warden. Will she find a way to deal with him or languish in prison?
