Paris 2024 presents a series of photographs of historic Parisian buildings undergoing restoration. During construction, the façades are hidden behind printed tarpaulins — showing either oversized advertisements or photographic reproductions of the buildings themselves. These temporary surfaces create illusionistic décors that conceal both the scaffolding and the transformation of the city. The images highlight this ambiguity, between stone and PVC, reality and representation.
