Littérature française et savoirs biologiques au XIXe siècle

In the 19^th century, biological knowledge fascinated writers, who found it the source of a new poetry, of an imaginary beyond positivist logic, but also of a renewal of textual forms. This volume studies the processes of translation, transmission, and transposition of this knowledge as they manifest themselves in the field of French literature.
