Research on Ukrainian war refugees residing in Poland demonstrates the challenges currently faced by most Western countries. It offers insights into the mechanisms of immigrants’ integration processes into a new socio-cultural environment. This publication presents the results of research on the living conditions of Ukrainian forced migrants residing outside their home country. The conducted research aims to show the nature of their adaptation and integration, and to identify the factors facilitating these processes. To this end, longitudinal research was conducted, involving two CAWI surveys. The first survey was carried out in the initial period following the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and the second after two years of ongoing conflict. The book is a valuable source of knowledge on the migration of Ukrainians following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. It also shows what life abroad looks like from a two-year perspective and demonstrates the changes taking place within the studied population.
