Before and After 1865

This wide ranging collection of original essays covering themes of Education, Colonial Politics, Caribbean Regionalism and the Caribbean in the Atlantic World was prepared as a tribute to educator and historian Roy Augier. The 28 chapters reflect the principal areas of Augier’s academic and professional activities within the walls of the University of the West Indies and beyond, especially in his various roles at the Caribbean Examinations Council.
