Dr. Satarupa Dey, is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya, affiliated under University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She earned her BSc in Botany from University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She holds also an MSc in Botany with Microbiology specialization from the same university. She completed her PhD in the year 2012 and her field of expertise is Bioremediation of Toxic metals. She was selected as a Department of Biotechnology, Government of India research fellow and later worked as visiting scientist in Agricultural and Ecological research Unit of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She is the recipient of the Woman Scientist (WOS A) fellowship of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She has published research and review article in several journals of National and International repute. She has co-edited 3 books and an active reviewer for many high-impact journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature and Nature Publishers.

Dr. Abhijit Dey is working as an Associate Professor in Department of Life sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata, West Bengal. He has been working in the fields of therapeutic application of plant natural products and ethnopharmacology for more than thirteen years. Being a frequent visitor to the Eastern Himalayas, he always has a special affinity to the north east Himalaya and he have always tried to expand this inclination into a scientific endeavour through a truly interdisciplinary research approach. His research areas involve broad areas and branches like Chemistry, Phytochemistry, Plant Science, Plant secondary metabolomics, Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Mathematical Modelling, Process optimization, Ecology and Biodiversity, Stress Physiology, Network Pharmacology etc. He has published in the topmost journals such as Drug Resistance Updates, Biotechnology Advances, Pharmacological Research, Industrial Crops and Products, Food Control, Food Bioscience, BMC Plant Biology, BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, Phytotherapy Research, Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, Frontiers in Nutrition, Frontiers in Pharmacology, Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Plos One, Journal of Clinical Pathology, Environment Development and Sustainability, Acta Physiologia Plantarum, Journal of Herbal Medicine, Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, Physiology and Molecular Biology of Plants and many more. Dr. Ashok Kumar Nadda is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India. He holds an extensive ‘Research and Teaching’ experience of more than 10 years in the field of microbial biotechnology, with research expertise focusing on various issues pertaining to ‘nano-biocatalysis, microbial enzymes, biomass, bioenergy’ and ‘climate change. He holds International work experiences in South Korea, India, Malaysia, and People’s Republic of China. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the State Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan China. He also worked as a Brain Pool researcher/ Assistant Professor at Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Ashok has published more than 215 scientific contributions in the form of research, review articles, books, book chapters and others at several platforms in various journals of international repute. The research output includes 132 research articles, 46 book chapters and 25 books. He is the main series editor of “Microbial Biotechnology for environment, energy and health” that publishing the books under Taylor and Francis, CRC Press USA. He is also a member of the editorial board and reviewer committee of the various journals of international repute. He has presented his research findings in more than 40 national/international conferences. He has attended more than 50 conferences/ workshops/colloquia/ seminars etc. in India and abroad. Dr. Ashok is also an active reviewer for many high-impact journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, ASC, RSC, and Nature Publishers. Currently, Dr. Ashok has h-index 28, i10 index 77 and 3000+ citation in Google scholar profile. His research works have gained broad interest through his highly-cited research publications, book chapters, conference presentations, and invited lectures.
