Abu Bin Imran is a Professor and Head in the Department of Chemistry at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He leads the Soft and Smart Materials Laboratory at BUET, where his team conducts research on smart hydrogels, nanomaterials, plastic upcycling, sensors, bio-composites, photochemistry, stretchable electronics, flexible supercapacitor, and supramolecular systems. He is committed to advancing materials science while inspiring and guiding the next generation of researchers toward academic excellence and meaningful societal contributions.
