Dr Abhijeet Ghatak, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour earned MSc (Ag) in Mycology and Plant Pathology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and PhD in Plant Pathology from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. He had been fortunate to conduct his PhD research work at the International Rice Research Institute, Los Baños, Laguna, the Philippines where he gained experience for one and half years. Dr Ghatak is a life member of six esteemed societies of plant sciences including the Crop Science Society of the Philippines. He has good editing skills; he is the editor of books including the Apple Academic Press, USA. Moreover, he has been the Associate from several Publishers, Editor of e-Newsletter, “Happening at BAU” of the Bihar Agricultural University. He is serving the Journal of Post Harvest Technology in the capacity of Editorial Board of the Journal since 2014. Dr Ghatak performs as a reviewer for Indian Phytopathology (New Delhi), Journal of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology (New Delhi), Journal of Postharvest Technology (Bhagalpur), Frontiers in Microbiology (Frontiers Media) and Plant Pathology (London). Additionally, time to time he has been the key member of the editorial team of souvenir of workshops, seminars and conferences. Dr Ghatak set the strategies of Bihar Agricultural University and published a policy document, “BAU Road Map (2017-2021)”.
Dr Aditya Sinha is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension Education at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bihar. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Extension from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Nadia. He is honoured with the Awsaraward from the Department of Science and Technology and received the First Prize in the Best Doctoral Thesis Award from MANAGE, Hyderabad. His academic credentials also include an MSc in Extension Education from Banaras Hindu University, a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Visva Bharati University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Technology from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Dr Sinha has undertaken a variety of roles encompassing leadership in teaching and learning, advanced faculty training in ICTs, centre of excellence in teaching and learning (CETL) at the university and management of research projects in Extension Education. His research portfolio is extensive, covering areas such as leadership development, information and communication technologies, educational methodologies, and journalism studies. He has a robust publication record, with contributions to journals, books, chapters, and reports in esteemed publications.
Dr Jeetu Narware is working as Assistant professor (Plant Pathology) at LNCT University, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). She completed graduation in Agriculture from Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, M.Sc. in Plant Pathology from Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli and PhD from the Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She stood adorned with the prestigious title of a Gold Medallist in the realm of MSc in Plant Pathology. She cleared ICAR- NET two times (2017 & 2018) along with that she delivered lectures as a resource person at centre for advanced research & development and radio talk on AIR. She is a recipient of ICAR-NTS (2011-2015), ICAR-NTS (2015-2017) for UG and PG, respectively, and UGC-BHU (2017-2019), NF-OBC (2019-2023) fellowships for PhD during her academic career. She has published research article in national and international journals, presented her work as oral and poster presentations in seminars and conferences. Her specialization of domain is nanotechnology.
Dr Sankar Chandra Paul has expertise on soil fertility-plant nutrition. He is currently a soil scientist in Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bihar. He has wide experience dealing with soil-related issues in plant growth and serving as Assistant Professor from 2012. He was awarded with BSc (Ag) Hons, MSc in Soil Science and PhD in Soil Science from Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Coochbehar, West Bengal. He is a life member of Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists, and India Society for Plantation Crops. He teaches the courses such as soil fertility, nutrient management, agricultural wastes management, solid waste management, composting etc. He published research and review articles in different journals. He has received the “Best Faculty Award-2023” on the Occasion of 6th International Conference on Advances in Agriculture Technology and Allied Sciences at Loyola Academy, Old Alwal, Secunderabad and “Excellence in Research Award-2023” during the 3rd National Conference under Society for Agriculture Innovation and development, Ranchi.
