Alana Tyson received her bachelor of science degree from Brooklyn College and her master of arts degree from the University of Maryland. After working in journalism for a short while, she began a career in national security and began to pursue a more creative path as a writer. She is the author of My Red, White, and Blue. Ebony Glenn enjoys bringing stories to life and share encouraging words with lighthearted imagery. She is the illustrator of a number of books for children, including Sir Morien: A Legend of a Knight of the Round Table, Mommy Time, Twelve Dinging Doorbells, Flying High: The Story of Gymnastics Champion Simone Biles, and others.
