Sisters Anthea and Wendy Turner are both authors, television personalities and business women. They first created the enchanting furry characters who thrive under London's bustling tube stations, over 30 years ago when they spotted real-life mice scurrying along the tracks on one of their many trips to the city. From there the idea of a series of children's stories featuring loveable long-tailed personalities took hold, leading to a successful book series with a huge young following. The latest Underneath the Underground stories are a modern twist on those original tales which a whole new generation of youngsters have already fallen in love with.
