Dr. Awanish Kumar is an Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology at the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has more than 13 years of research experience. He received his PhD in molecular parasitology from the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India, and completed his postdoctoral studies at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. His research interests are infection biology, drug targeting, and drug discovery. Dr. Banashree Bondhopadhyay is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Medical Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India. She earned her Ph.D. from The University of Burdwan and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at ICMR-NICPR. Her research focuses on molecular biology, molecular oncology, and healthcare, particularly breast cancer and hybrid anti-cancer natural products. Dr. Bondhopadhyay has an h-index of 14, with over 17 publications in SCI journals and has received the ICMR-DHR Women Scientist Fellowship. Her work is published in renowned journals like Biosensors and Bioelectronics and Cancers. She has received the Shri K.N. Narasimhiah Award and the Best Oral Presenter Award at Oncology Conundrums 2024. Actively involved in scientific societies, she also reviews for prestigious journals and teaches various biotechnology courses while supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.
