Ben Jacob Author

Ben Jacobs is a university lecturer by day and an orchid vigilante by night. He fell in love with orchids at a young age, and spent his twenties abroad, teaching English and exploring tropical jungles where exotic orchid species grew wild. A decade later he returned home, where he discovered that many of Britain's native orchid species are on the verge of extinction. That's when he turned outlaw, risking prison to secretly save orchids from destruction on building sites. He now lives with his wife and son, and a seedbank of endangered orchid species in his kitchen fridge.
