Ben McCabe Editor & Author

Ben McCabe is a former journalist and marketer whose career to date has been largely spent working with small businesses and start-ups in the sustainability and plant-based sectors, including helping several vegan food and drink businesses across the UK develop their brand and expand their reach.

Helena Murphy is a published author and commercial photographer. She specialises in food and product photography, working with a range of brands to create joyful images for marketing campaigns, packaging and digital media. 

Together Ben and Helena wrote, designed and published Omnom Magazine – an exploration into how we can live a more ethical lifestlye – which ran for four issues between 2016-20. 

In 2022 Helena authored and published The Plant-Based Crohn’s and Colitis Cookbook, which offers a wide variety of vegan recipes tailored to the complex needs of those suffering from imflammatory bowel disease.

Ben and Helena live in Southville, Bristol with their cantankerous but adorable cat, Cordelia.
