Brian J. Dickson worked in the printing and publishing industries in both Edinburgh and London for thirty-five years, retiring in 2000. He has had more than twenty-five titles published detailing the history of Britain’s railways from the north of Scotland to the south of England. His book of photographs of Edinburgh trams was prompted by many childhood memories of the city’s system in the 1950s.
