Charles Marowitz Author

Charles Marowitz is the founding artistic director of the Malibu Stage Company and has been co-director with Peter Brook of the Royal Shakespeare Company Experimental Group. He is the author of the following Applause titles: Directing the Action: Acting and Directing in Contemporary Theatre; The Other Way: An Alternative Approach to Acting & Directing; Recycling Shakespeare; Alarums & Excursions: Our Theatres in the '90s; and Roar of the Canon: Kott and Marowitz on Shakespeare.
