Dr. Nasrollah Moradikor is currently Research Director and Head of Brain Aging and Dementia at the International Center for Neuroscience Research in Georgia. Dr. Nasrollah has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in promoting applied neuroscience research and establishing fruitful collaborations among scientists worldwide. In 2021, Dr. Nasrollah founded a new community platform named “Neuroscience Network to support and develop neuroscience in the world. He has over 15 years of research and teaching experience and till now he has chaired many national and international events in the area of neuroscience. He has published more than 100 scientific papers, and he currently serves as an editor, editorial board member and section editor of several reputed journals in the field of neuroscience. He is an active professional member of IBRO, FENS, EBBS, ISN, ESN, and MDS. Dr. Chinna Orish is an MBBS graduate with a PhD in Anatomy and is a Senior Faculty member at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Neurotoxicology at the National Center for Toxicological Research, USA, from 2016 to 2017. She is the founder of Women in Neuroscience and the Youth Neuroscience Association of Nigeria, where she is dedicated to empowering young minds and promoting gender equality in the field of neuroscience. Additionally, she serves as the lead investigator at the Neuro-Provictoire Research Laboratory, spearheading pioneering research initiatives. She coordinates the Neuroscience Group at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, significantly contributing to the academic and research environment. Her active involvement in international scientific communities is evident through her memberships in prestigious organizations such as the International Society of Neurochemistry, the American Society of Neurochemistry, the Society for Neuroscience, and the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria. These affiliations reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of global developments in neuroscience. Her research focuses on understanding sexual dimorphism in the molecular mechanisms of heavy metal-induced environmental toxicants in neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, using both animal and Drosophila models.
