Édouard Manceau was born in the Vendée countryside in 1969, studied at the Angers School of Fine Arts, and lives often in Toulouse and occasionally in Paris. He loves making books with words and pictures that tell stories. He has written about 130. When his books are ready, when they have everything they need to face life, they embark on long journeys and often end up in preschools. They have been translated into about twenty languages. He also frequently visits schools to talk about the adventure of literature, the power of books, and the importance of being a reader.

Christina Dorner has been a primary school teacher and headteacher in Lingolsheim, Bas-Rhin, since 2003. She is the author of several reference teaching guides published by Accès. Since 2020, she has also written children's books for Accès Jeunesse.
