Simone Petacchi (PhD) is currently a consultant curator at the Stibbert Museum (Florence) and a scientific collaborator with the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology (Marseille). He studied Classics and Egyptology in Pisa, Liverpool, and Lille. A member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition (Sudan), he collaborates with museums and institutions across Europe and Africa. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored volumes on unpublished Pharaonic collections. Additionally, he serves as an editorial consultant for Bloomsbury Publications and works as a freelance journalist for Ancient Egypt Magazine.
Christophe Le Pennec is the curator of the archaeological, historical, and natural sciences collections at the Musée d’Histoire et d’Archéologie de Vannes, as well as the archives of the Société Polymathique du Morbihan, a learned society. He holds a Master’s in Ancient History on the origins of Vannes (Darioritum). Since 1994, he has worked for the City of Vannes, overseeing collections management, research support, and public outreach, with much of the material originating from the Société Polymathique du Morbihan.
