Marie Bolton a obtenu son doctorat en histoire à l'université de Californie à Davis en 1997. Elle est maître de conférences en histoire américaine à l'université Clermont-Auvergne et travaille notamment sur des thématiques d’histoire environnementale.

Patrick Fournier est maître de conférences en histoire moderne à l’université Clermont-Auvergne. Membre fondateur du RUCHE (Réseau universitaire de chercheurs en histoire environnementale), il travaille sur l’histoire de l’aménagement territorial et sur les relations entre santé et environnement.

Claude Grimmer est maîtresse de conférences honoraire en histoire moderne (université Clermont-Auvergne) et chercheuse associée au Centre Roland Mousnier (Paris-Sorbonne). Ses recherches portent sur l’histoire urbaine, l’histoire hospitalière, l’histoire de la famille et des enfants illégitimes.
