Connie L Scarborough Author

Connie L. Scarborough received her PhD in 1983 and has held faculty positions at several universities, and since 2009 she is Professor at Texas Tech University where she is Co-Director of the Medieval and Renaissance Studies Program. She has published on Alfonso X’s Cantigas de Santa Maria, Celestina, Libro de buen amor, and the works of Gonzalo de Berceo. She has special interests in ecocritical approaches to literature and her most recent project is an examination of disabled individuals in Medieval and Early Modern Spanish Texts. She currently serves on the Executive Council for Medieval Iberian Studies of the MLA.
