Dan Rosenfeld, PhD, is an award-winning psychologist, table tennis player, and comedian. Dr. Rosenfeld holds a PhD in psychology from UCLA, where he is currently a postdoctoral scholar. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals, and his work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and on NPR. Dr. Rosenfeld has received multiple national research awards from the American Psychological Association, including the prestigious Junior Scientist Fellowship.
Dr. Rosenfeld is also a two-time US Open Table Tennis gold medalist and a former member of the US National Table Tennis Team. He has performed stand-up comedy at popular venues around Los Angeles and won first place in the US Comedy Contest. Additionally, Dr. Rosenfeld is founder and director of The Match Lab, where he has coached over 500 clients on how to improve their dating lives.
Born with cerebral palsy, Dr. Rosenfeld spent his childhood in intensive physical rehabilitation. He spent hundreds of hours in physical therapy learning how to walk, in speech therapy learning how to talk, and in occupational therapy learning how to live independently. Proudly an introvert himself, Dr. Rosenfeld is passionate about empowering introverts to overcome self-doubt, harness their unique strengths, and embrace their authentic selves.
