David Brayley Author

David Brayley is a sports writer and education consultant from Swansea, Wales. His previous works include acting as ghost writer on the award nominated cricket autobiography "There's Only Two Tony Cotteys" and also on the football book "My Premier League Diary" with Wales captain, Ashley Williams. Champion of Champions is his first novel. A self confessed sports obsessive all his life, David's other passion is encouraging young people to embrace reading, and has worked for the National Literacy Trust in this area, specifically helping deliver their Premier League Reading Stars Programme. He has run countless literacy workshops in schools and is an advocate of encouraging parents to read along with children and it was this that gave David the inspiration for this book. He lives in Swansea with his wife Debra and two daughters Georgia and Olivia. He has also appeared on Mastermind, Eggheads and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Sadly, he didn't exactly cover himself in glory. His current sporting passion is cycling, but prefers going down hills rather than up them.
