Dr. Debasmita Bhattacharya is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities at the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, India. Dr. Bhattacharya obtained her Masters and Doctoral degree in Cellular, Molecular and Integrative Physiology, Faculty of Health from York University. She did her Post-Doctoral fellowship in an eminent lab at York University. She has proven research expertise in stem cell biology, health science, cellular physiology, and cancer biology. Bhattacharya has disseminated her research through several International peer reviewed journal articles, at top tier academic conferences in Canada. One of her publications is in Nature Communications (IF: 17.694) and has been appreciated by eminent scholars in the field. She had worked as a Teaching Assistant at York University and Professor at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Canada in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Departments. Dr. Pradip Kumar is currently working as a Senior Scientist in CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal, India. He received his Ph.D. (2012) in Physics from the School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He was a BK21 postdoctoral fellow at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a visiting scientist in the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, Republic of Korea, where he did innovative research on the fabrication of 2D materials and composites for ultrahigh thermally conductive, EMI shielding and catalysis applications by using low-temperature chemical reduction. Later, he joined the prestigious DST Inspire Faculty Position at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India. Throughout his research career, he has published one patent, two book chapters and over 30 peer-reviewed papers in high impact international journals Dr. Samapika Das Biswas is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Assistant Head of the Basic Science and Humanities Department at the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) in Kolkata, she also takes on the role of Head of the English department and Psychologist/Counsellor. This multi-faceted role involves her active involvement in curriculum development, faculty management, and academic coordination. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she is deeply engaged in various community organizations. She has also been instrumental in organizing international conferences and managing international journals, reflecting her commitment to the broader academic community.
