Dong Ping Author

Dong Ping, a Distinguished Qiushi Professor, Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Philosophy, Zhejiang University, and a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, now serves as President of Zhejiang Jishan Wang Yangming Research Institute, Vice President of the International Confucian Federation, Vice President of the Chinese Society for the History of Philosophy, Vice President of the Zhonghua Confucius Society, and Research Fellow of Zhejiang Provincial Museum of Literature and History.

His main research areas include pre-Qin Confucianism and Taoism, Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming dynasties, the Eastern Zhejiang School, and Chinese Buddhist philosophy. He delivered lectures titled "Guan Zhong, the Famous Minister" and "Wang Yangming, the Legendary Philosopher" on CCTV’s Lecture Room (Baijia Jiangtan).
