Donielle Broderick, "Creator of the Cuddly Slashers" and founder of Done by Donielle, is well-known and wildly popular for her amigurumi patterns and dolls, of which she has sold thousands through Etsy and other outlets. Doneille's work has been covered by numerous major media outlets, though she's best known for the overwhelming press she received in 2020 when she turned an image of Bernie Sanders sitting cross-legged wearing mittens at the presidential inauguration from a viral internet meme to a crocheted doll and "hot commodity." Many of Doneille's followers are celebrities and she has created commissioned dolls for everyone from Emma Roberts (actress) to Rob Zombie (musician).
