Dr Beverton has a BA in American Studies and an MPhil in American History and Literature, both from the University of Sussex. She completed her PhD in History at University College London in 2018. She worked in various teaching roles at UCL, Queen Mary University of London, and Cardiff University before joining Oxford Brookes in 2019.
Edward Mair is a Lecturer in United States History at the University of York. Edward’s main area of interest is Native Americans and their approach to Black slavery.
Adam Burns is Head of Politics at Brighton College in the UK. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and an EdD from the University of Leicester. He is the author of The United States: Reuniting a Nation, 1865–1920 (Routledge, 2020).
Alex Bryne is a historian of United States foreign relations, specialising in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Alex joined De Montford University in 2024 and has previously taught at the University Nottingham, the University of Lincoln, and the University of Roehampton. He received his PhD from the University of Nottingham in 2017.
