Elizabeth L. Banks (1865-1938) was an American journalist and writer. Known for her exposes of the working conditions of women in England, her reporting became a pioneering work of early feminism in Victorian Britain. Brooke Kroeger is a journalist and professor emerita at the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. She is the author of several books, including Undaunted: How Women Changed American Journalism, and Nellie Bly: Daredevil, Reporter, Feminist, which was an NPR Best Book of the Year.
