Eric Lamarre Author

Eric Lamarre leads McKinsey Digital in North America, based in Boston. He is a civil and oceanographic engineer by training and worked in research at MIT on water waves and underwater acoustics before joining McKinsey. At the Firm, Eric serves clients across a range of industries on large-scale digital and AI transformations, accompanying senior leadership teams to help them build companies that can outperform with technology. Eric has led the development of McKinsey's Digital & AI client service methodologies and published extensively on the topic in HBR, Sloan Management Review and The McKinsey Quarterly. Eric is a member of McKinsey's Shareholders Council, the firm's Board of Directors. He also serves on the board of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation. He is Canadian, married and has two wonderful daughters.

Kate Smaje is the global co-leader of McKinsey Digital and a member of McKinsey's Shareholders Council, the Firm's board of directors. A history major at heart, and by way of investment banking, Kate has spent the past 20+ years at McKinsey working with B2C companies. She partners across geographies and sectors to harness the power of technology and AI through marrying it with the human change required to leap forward and gain competitive advantage. She has first-hand experience as a chief technology officer and a self-proclaimed geeky interest in technology innovation, continuous learning, and developing people. She is also a passionate long-term trustee of Tommy's, the London-based children's charity.

Rodney W. Zemmel is the global coleader of McKinsey Digital in New York, serving clients across a range of industries on growth strategy, performance improvement, and value creation by harnessing the power of data and analytics, digital culture and capabilities, modernized core technology, and digital business building. Rodney is a member of McKinsey's Shareholders Council, the firm's board of directors. Rodney is a recognized thought leader whose articles have appeared in leading business and technical publications, including Harvard Business Review and Nature Reviews. He represents McKinsey at forums such as the National Association of Corporate Directors, CEO Academy, and other roundtables. Rodney serves on the board of BritishAmerican Business and is an advisory board member of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering.
