Christopher J. Carpenter (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is an associate professor in the Department of Communication at Western Illinois University. He has produced more than 60 journal articles, book chapters, and published conference proceedings in Human Communication Research, Journal of Communication, and Health Communication, among others.
