Frederick G Lieb Author

Frederick G. Lieb became one of the first living writers inducted into the writer's wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame when he received the J. G. Taylor Spink Award in 1972. He covered baseball for nearly seventy years and wrote twelve books, including six of the Putnam team histories. Author of seventeen books, Bob Broeg began his sportswriting career with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 1945 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979
