Graeme Macrae Burnet Author

Graeme Macrae Burnet is one of Scotland’s brightest literary talents, whose second novel, His Bloody Project (Contraband, 2015), was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the LA Times Book Awards. It received universal critical acclaim and has been published around the world, becoming a bestseller and winning awards in several countries. His first novel, The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau (Contraband, 2014), is a literary mystery for which Graeme received a New Writer's Award from the Scottish Book Trust. It was longlisted for the Waverton Good Read Award and became a cult hit, as is the sequel, his third novel, The Accident on the A35. Before writing full-time, Graeme worked as an English teacher in various parts of Europe and as a researcher for television in Scotland. He has degrees in English Literature and International Security Studies.
