Lina María Grajales is Associate Professor II at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) in Brazil. She is part of the undergraduate program in Food Engineering and the Graduate Program in Digital Agroenergy, and works on the development of bioreactors for solid-state fermentation aimed at producing biofuels using agro-industrial residues as substrates. Dr. Hailei Wang is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Utah State University in the United States, and Director of the Energy Technology Research & Innovation (eTRI) Lab. He has broad research expertise in heat transfer and advanced energy system modeling. His work has been funded by various US federal agencies including the NRC, DOD, and several DOE offices such as the Office of Nuclear Energy, Solar Energy Technology Office, ARPA-E, the Building Technology Office, and the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Program. His energy system research and thermal modeling work has also been supported by various corporations including Cummins, Medtronic, Thermo Fisher, and NuScale Power. Dr. Wang has published over 60 journal and conference papers, and holds 3 granted patents as well as multiple patent applications.
