Hannah Kemp-Welch is an artist and researcher completing her doctoral studies with Creative Research in Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP) at University of the Arts London, where she also teaches on the MA Sound Arts programme. Her doctoral research explores listening in community-based art practice, attending to justice-oriented approaches to listening. Working across sound and transmission arts, her practice takes the form of broadcasts, installations, and community workshops that foreground collective listening as a creative and critical method. She is a member of the feminist radio art group Shortwave Collective. Her writing has been published by Feminist Review, the Barbican Centre, and the Tate Learning Research Centre.
