Helei Liu is Professor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. His research interests mainly involve new technologies for CO2 capture from flue gases from industrial sources, which also involve the development of reaction mechanisms and kinetics for CO2 capture based on new knowledge of CO2?amine interactions.
Sandra Kentish is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor at The University of Melbourne, Australia. She is a Project Leader within the ARC Hub for Digital Bioprocess Development, the Dairy Innovation Research Hub and within the Future Fuels CRC. Professor Kentish was selected as one of Australia's Most Innovative Engineers by Engineers Australia in 2017 and as a Woman of Influence by the Australian Financial Review in 2018. She was elected to the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) in 2019. Professor Kentish has been awarded the Membrane Society of Australasia Anita Hill Leadership award, the Grimwade Prize in Industrial Chemistry and the Caltex Teaching Award of Excellence for Training of Chemical Engineers in Australasia.
Jan Baeyens is currently Principal Investigator at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China. He had many years of employment in engineering divisions of various Belgian companies, then was appointed at the University of Birmingham, the University College London and the University of Warwick. He is actively involved in renewable energy research.
