Michael Demson is Professor of English at Sam Houston State University, USA. Helena Halmari is a Distinguished Professor of English at Sam Houston State University, USA. She is also a Texas State University System Regents' Professor. Among her publications are The Making of Finland: The Era of the Grand Duchy (2018), co-edited with Hanna Snellman, Scott Kaukonen, and Hilary-Joy Virtanen, and Multilingual Finland, Parts I (2024) and II (2025), co-edited with Lotta Weckström.
